Columbia University Intern Therapist

Throughout my life, I have carried a deep curiosity about the complexities of the human mind and a profound desire to help others. This enduring curiosity and passion have fueled my commitment to becoming an exceptional mental health counselor. I am currently a second-year graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling program at Teachers College, Columbia University, and I am eager to apply the knowledge and skills I have gained to support individuals in effectively addressing and overcoming their psychological challenges.

I firmly believe that counseling serves as a powerful tool for addressing mental health issues and fostering personal growth. Through the counseling process, I utilize evidence-based approaches and draw from various psychotherapy theories to meet clients' diverse needs. Among these, I have developed particular expertise in psychodynamic therapy and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), which allow me to explore the roots of clients’ concerns while challenging irrational beliefs that may hinder their well-being.

My approach emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and adaptability, as I strive to create a safe space for clients to feel heard and valued. I am deeply committed to ensuring that individuals seeking help are treated with the utmost respect and provided with effective mental health support tailored to their unique situations. It is my sincere hope that everyone in need has access to compassionate care and the tools necessary to overcome life’s challenges, ultimately leading them to greater emotional resilience and fulfillment.
