Riverbank Psychotherapy
a place to relax and heal

I often think that people do not come to therapy only because something major has happened. Sometimes, it is because they have not felt truly connected to themselves for a long time. They may be working hard to adjust to a new environment, navigating family expectations, questioning themselves in a relationship, or slowly feeling tired, anxious, and alone even when life seems to be going on as usual.
I hope to support young adults, international students, immigrants, and clients navigating anxiety, stress, identity exploration, family conflict, and relationship concerns. As a bilingual therapist with cross-cultural life experiences, I understand the tension that can arise between language, culture, family expectations, and self-identity. Many of us learn to adapt to different environments and care for different expectations, and in that process, we may gradually place our own feelings far behind and forget how to feel at ease being ourselves.
My therapeutic style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. In therapy, I hope to offer a safe and steady presence, where we can slow down together and make more room for feelings that may have been overlooked for a long time. We can explore emotions that are hard to put into words, relational tensions, and concerns that continue to return, helping you better understand your needs and find a direction that feels more aligned with who you are.
I believe that in a relationship where one feels truly heard and understood, a person can gradually come closer to themselves and develop the strength to face life with greater clarity.
