NY, NJ & FL Licensed Mental Health Counselor | School Counselor with Bilingual Extension | Certified Gestalt Therapist

With an early passion for psychology, I moved from China to the United States at 17. I am currently a fully licensed mental health counselor in New York, New Jersey, and Florida.

Since graduating from Columbia University in 2013, I have worked as a community therapist and gained extensive experience supporting college students, young professionals, and Asian immigrants. My therapeutic style is conversational and collaborative, while remaining grounded in clear clinical direction. Together, we focus on helping clients reconnect with their authentic selves. Through honesty, curiosity, and self-exploration, self-compassion can deepen, creating lasting inner strength and meaningful change.

I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship styles. My practice is LGBTQIA+-affirming, kink-aware, and sex-positive, providing a respectful, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their unique experiences.

During our initial sessions, I encourage clients to begin with what feels most emotionally present. We follow these experiences as they unfold, exploring the deeper struggles, longings, and patterns beneath the surface. With support and compassionate exploration, clients often discover a stronger sense of self, greater emotional freedom, and a more authentic way of relating to themselves and others.

In 2020, I received specialized training from Mariela Shibley in conducting mental health evaluations for immigration cases. I provide these evaluations in Mandarin.
