Many of my clients talked about how much they suffered from procrastination. For some, the reason behind their procrastination is the perfect standard they set for themselves.
Procrastinating is undoubtably stressful, but it still may be easier to endure than disappointment of oneself.
The best way to relieve that anxiety behind procrastination is to start with a small step (e.g. Type the first sentence of a big paper). Remind yourself: done is better than perfect. Perfect does not exist!
